At the beginning of 2015, we decided to take a new path with the aim of running an Albergue on the Camino de Santiago.
In search of an Albergue, our first place of residence in Spain from November 2015 was the beautiful town of Ribadesella. There, on the Camino del Norte, we looked for an Albergue to run, but did not find one.
In spring 2016, we found one in Ambasmestas on the Camino Frances. It was the Albergue Das Animas in Ambasmestas.
Without hesitation, we accepted immediately.
From May 2016 to March 2020, we were at the Albergue Das Animas to help and advise pilgrims on the Camino Frances.
We have been living here in Espinosa del Camino since May 2020.
